Best responce to the Watchman legal proceedings

I have no real understanding of the American legal system. I also find it bizarre that Warner Bros could have done full filming of the Watchmen film and not realised that a possible legal issue surrounding the distribution rights existed.

The fact that Fox realised this and pulled the dick move of film history is interesting and sad all at the same time.

That being said, Daniel O'Brien over at (yup the crappy mad magazine rip off has become a half decent humor site) has written about it in a way that do the most justice to the situation.

Ep 3 recording/ The Assies!

Hey boys and girls.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Adam and I will be recording the next episode on the 27th. It may be a larger episode then usual due to the theme.

That's right, we are doing our own award show, complete with no existant award statues, bad jokes, possible drunkeness and to top it all of we have an actual acceptance speech by one of the winners.

Yup, someone apparently thinks we're somewhat funny enough to take time out of his or her day to give us a speech.

Feel free to give us your opinions on what you thought the best and worst of nerdiness was for 2008. Wel will read them on air with the possability of ripping apart your choices...before you find this shocking, read again the name of the group you joined. ;)

Happy holidays...

Who You Gonna Call?

We've made some reference to this game in the podcast, and now we're seeing some more concrete results, and a firm indication as to when the product is actually being released.  The above link will take you to the trailer for the game.  If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, I'm sure you hold this franchise in as high esteem as I do.  This game seems to do the series justice.

As previously advised, I will buy an Xbox 420 just for this game.

Bruce Lee Ping Pong

This is just an example of a great ad and even better, Bruce Lee playing ping pong with nunchucks.

To quote my friend Chris, "If ping pong was really played like that, it would be the most watched olympic sport ever!"

ps...I want that phone.

Episode 2

"Once more, the Denigrating Duo of Adam Grant and Brent Chittenden, the aforementioned Two Assholes, spend an otherwise pleasant hour or so discussing Transformer Sex, Holiday Wish Lists, the many faces of Bond, and various other things you likely don't want your mom to hear."

We've seen a pretty good response to this podcast thus far, and we very much hope that it continues. That being said, it goes without saying that we would continue to rant and rave about this sort of stuff whether or not we had an audience. It's just nice having many more people to rant at.

Thanks for showing up and other such things

Hi everyone. Thanks for checking out the podcast. Adam and I have a lot of enthusiasm for it Adam we're looking forward to keeping up our once a month schedule.

I'm going to use the site to mention things every now and again that I like or things that in this case, astonish me that I'm looking forward to.

In this case The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke.

Yes, I am excited for a Mickey Rourke movie.

Had someone come to me even a year before Sin City had come in to being and told me I would one day be excited for a Mickey Rourke film, I may have given you a look that would make you think you crapped yourself and had began smearing it on the walls.

Now comes along this movie called The Wrestler and it looks good as the trailer will attest but it's weird for me. It has so many things in it that just scream this is going to be horrible but yet it looks like it's going to be really good and all the critics seem to love it.

Item 1) Mickey Rourke a man with phenomenal acting talents but self destructed his career and did a lot of bad movies.

Item 2) Marisa Tomei. Still gorgeous to look and although she plays a stripper in this, name a movie you liked of hers besides My Cousin Vinnie? Don't worry, I'll wait. That's right, other then a small part in Four Rooms, there isn't much good is there. Oh and Rescue Me the tv show but she wasn't a part of it's success.

Item 3) It's a movie about wrestling. While I love Ready to Rumble as much as the next guy, I know it's a horrible movie. Incidentally it also lead to one of the worst moments in pro wrestling history when David Arrquette became heavy weight champ of wcw.

But the one thing this movie does have going for it is Darren Aronofsky. The man has yet to make a bad movie.

So with that, check out the trailer.

Episode 1

"Adam Grant and Brent Chittenden are the aforementioned Two Assholes. In their opening foray, they discuss Fallout 3, Cybersex with Fat Chicks, Thor, Rodimus Prime, and various other shit that you're really not suppose to mention in polite company."

What this really means is that you, lucky viewer, get to see precisely what kind of garbage goes through the minds of these Two Assholes, as well as our opinions and reflections on geeky stuff, breasts, and anything that could be classed as "awesome", or "full of win".

Seriously, though, we hope that you enjoy our rantings and ravings as much as we do.
