I have no real understanding of the American legal system. I also find it bizarre that Warner Bros could have done full filming of the Watchmen film and not realised that a possible legal issue surrounding the distribution rights existed.
The fact that Fox realised this and pulled the dick move of film history is interesting and sad all at the same time.
That being said, Daniel O'Brien over at Cracked.com (yup the crappy mad magazine rip off has become a half decent humor site) has written about it in a way that do the most justice to the situation.
Just wanted to let everyone know, Adam and I will be recording the next episode on the 27th. It may be a larger episode then usual due to the theme.
THE ASSIES!
That's right, we are doing our own award show, complete with no existant award statues, bad jokes, possible drunkeness and to top it all of we have an actual acceptance speech by one of the winners.
Yup, someone apparently thinks we're somewhat funny enough to take time out of his or her day to give us a speech.
Feel free to give us your opinions on what you thought the best and worst of nerdiness was for 2008. Wel will read them on air with the possability of ripping apart your choices...before you find this shocking, read again the name of the group you joined. ;)
We've made some reference to this game in the podcast, and now we're seeing some more concrete results, and a firm indication as to when the product is actually being released. The above link will take you to the trailer for the game. If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, I'm sure you hold this franchise in as high esteem as I do. This game seems to do the series justice.
As previously advised, I will buy an Xbox 420 just for this game.
